A collaborative effort with the Language Studies Department, LSAS’ first event of 2015 was an amazing meet and greet combined with the celebration of “La Chandeleur”. Students and professors mingled together while playing games, eating great food and flipping crêpes. We thank everyone for coming out!










Crepe recipe

Recette pour 12 crêpes
Ingrédients
- 150g de farine
- 2.5 verres de lait
- 1 noix de beurre fondu
- 2 oeufs
- 1 pincée de sel
Préparation de la pâte
- Dans un saladier, mélanger la farine avec les oeufs.
- Rajouter le lait petit à petit tout en mélangeant, ainsi que le beurre et le sel.
- Fouetter l’ensemble pour obtenir une pâte bien lisse.
- Laisser reposer 1h.
Cuisson
Faire cuire à la poêle en répartissent bien la pâte. Rajouter une garniture salée ou sucrée. servir tiède.

- 2 1/2 cups of milk
- 1 knob of melted butter
- 2 eggs
- pinch of salt
Preparation
- In a bowl mix flour and eggs.
- Gradually add the milk while mixing, as well as butter and salt.
- Whisk together to obtain a very smooth paste.
- Leave to rest for 1 hour.
Cooking
Cook in a pan, distributing the mixture well. Add a savoury or sweet garnish. Serve warm.
